At Sparkling Angels Nursery, we aim to admit all children whose parents have expressed interest in our service, inline with our Equal Opportunity Policy.

Following an enquiry, details of prospective parents are recorded and held on file at the setting. A prospectus is sent out on request, along with any other documents required.

Prospective parents are sent a registration form on request, after touring the setting.

Parents are asked to return the form with required registration fee. We acknowledge receipt of the registration form in writing.

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis taking into consideration the sessions requested and availability of these, including ‘funded hours. All families have an equal right to places but priority is always given to siblings of children already attending the nursery. We are able to offer additional services including extended hours, meals

Every effort is made to accommodate children, but within each space we adhere strictly to the adult to child ratios, according to the condition of the registration of our settings.

Sparkling Angels Nurseries aims to make the transition from home to nursery as stress-free as possible for our parents and children. We offer a free settling-in before starting at nursery which gives us the opportunity to get to know you and your child, to answer any questions you may have and for your little one to meet their key person in.

The settling-in sessions are arranged with the parent at a mutually convenient time. Both child and parent spend initial periods of time within the setting during a normal session. The child and parent settling-in sessions are used as an opportunity for parents to ask questions, for the child to settle into the environment and for the staff to get to know the child.

The next settling-in sessions will be with the child alone, which organised when the child is ready. Child-only settling -in sessions will include mealtimes, sleep times, outdoor play etc. over a period of time.
